Proper treatment for lymphedema starts at a specialized lymphedema clinic. Only a physician or a Certified Lymphedema Therapist can determine exactly what will be the best course of treatment for you. Certified Lympedema Therapists have had extensive training in the treament of lymphedema and related disorders. Before starting treatment check out the qualifications of the therapist. If the therapist has had the proper training he or she will have no hesitation showing these to you.
